Rarevision VHS - Retro 80s Cam App Reviews

This app has consistently remained the most authentic and user friendly as well as delivering a solid product. As far achieving *full authenticity*, it would need: 1) The "Standby" button— in which the user could resume recording without creating a completely new clip 2) Color balance — not an actual feature (although it could be) but even after looking at my own VHS home videos, the color balance in the videos recorded in the App seem a little dull in comparison. I speak for myself when I say this but I think the "multi-color" feature is not a very authentic feature nor does it look that way when its applied.

How ridiculous that this app does not allow treating pre-recorded video! I would never record video straight into this thing. Do not pay for this if you are not willing to record directly into the app. I feel duped by the devs but its my own fault for not trusting previous reviews.

this is amazing, more authentic than the others I have tried, especially with the background noise and visual effects. but unlike others it needs an import function please!!!!!!!!! please!!!!! also, like others, when you import a video it should also have the date that you took the original video not the date that you imported it into the app! please please please add this feature!!!

Perfect app to get that 80s vhs feeling. Simple and awesome! Only miss a true 24fps framerate to be able to fully use it in my flow

This is an app I have been waiting for al long time. There are a lot of apps for the Super-8 look. But this is a new one. Recreating the VHS look. Fun to look like back in the 80s. The only thing I wish for is the ability to stop the autofocus of the camera. My VHS-C Camera did not have an autofocus, so this is a dead giveaway for the faking of it.

Best app of this gender, it has the most realistic effects. Suggestion: import media from camera roll and photo mode

why the flashlight was cutted off from this new version?? please bring it back!

I really like the app but I would like to have an option for the noise in the picture so that i can turn or off if I want. Also there should be a warning message when there is not enough memory availabe to save the video. Right now the videos just gone when there isnt enough space.

Really cool app that accurately spoofs that old VHS look. I would like to see some more settings (manually change severity of degradation; adjust for different film stock etc.)

This looks like the real thing. Very well done. Fun to use!! Some settings like resolution an spoof Timestamp are lost when i restart the app.

Everything works fine on my iphone5s. Could you bring more options like setting the AF off or add more filter??

I was looking for a filter for an 80s style movie and this one is just about perfect! I would like an option to reduce the static a bit more, but I can live with what I have.
