The app continues to be fun and useful, but the developers have yet to add a beneficial import tool to import videos from the camera roll.

90% of videos arent saving. settings dont save each time you close the app out. requesting my money back, dont buy

How can I remove the distortion on the bottom of the screen? Is there a way to do it?

I would really like the ability to import footage into the app. The VHS effects are really well done otherwise.

It would be nice to be able to import your own videos. This would be a great improvement in the next update! Please do.

I have a real VHS cam Corder in my room, I was just curious and wanted to compare this app with it . No doubt the footage looks completely identical , its absolutely visually stunning . Very cool alongside the 8mm app which also gives a realistic emulation of the real format . You guys at rarevision should add tracking to playback so you can distort the footage even more with color offsets and sound wobbles . Overall its a great app with many potential .

I was actually shocked by how authentic it was to an actual vhs recording. The effects alone is why this app deserves 5 stars, of corse there are ways they could make it even better by adding some more distortion effects and ability to save certain settings, etc. But they still did an amazing job like they actually turned your iphone into a vhs camcorder except now its 10x easier to get the video to digital.

update : other apps are increasingly better visually, while also offering the option to upload--but not this one, curiously. which begs the question : why pay for what others offer for free? docking stars on this review until import functionality is added. previous review : like so many others here are saying : this is a great app, but it needs an import function, so we can use vids already recorded. otherwise, theres a seriously great look to the videos this app records--far better than others out there. (just give us the option of importing!)

I mean its okay but you should be able to choose videos from your gallery. I kinda regret buying this.

This is a great app to record videos and dont pay any mind to the reviews that says you dont have an option to import because you do. All you have to do once you recorded the video is go into the videos youve recorded, press and hold the video youd like to import and it should give the option to save or import to a social media.

I purchased this app in the hopes that the designers would have put in an option to import video from the camera roll. I just read another review that rated it 5 stars, but apparently doesnt understand the concept of importing. The lack of an import function is infuriating! I dont use the app anymore because I dont have the option of having a clean video and an edited video.
