Good app, although the only thing is you cant import videos. Please update to import videos, this app was expensive!

After recording, no videos show up when i press play. This is a cool app but whats its use if i cant see what i recorded

This app really brings me back to the days of making videos on a old vhs camera. Also a throwback to recording rock videos off muchmusic on a top loading vhs recorder/player. I hope they increase the options for different types of distortion and how much to apply. Moving the date/time stamp would also be useful. Amazing job for a 1.0 software release.

Welcome to the past! They have this app down pat. I love it!

Its an awesome piece of software, but missing a couple of things: You cant process a prerecord video. There are few adjustments you can make. Too much static. Would be nice if your could adjust individual effects separately. Needs to mimic NTSC colour distortion. I wish I could add custom titling. Not just the time stamp. Nevertheless, quite nice.

I got this Allans I was skeptical of retro recording. I am blown away with what Ive seen. If you are stuck in the past or want the retro look of video, get it. Its worth every cent in my opinion.

The buzzing of the audio is a nice addition, but I think there needs to be more settings for audio. More distortion, bass, treble, etc to make it sound more real! Also I think there should be an option for zooming noises. Regards.

This app brings me back in time. Would be nice to be able toggle from front cam to back cam, and possibly take still photos too. Over all best app I have ever owned.

Needs a few more features... 1.) Import existing Videos into app. 2.) Hide the TIME, but keep the DATE. 3.) Add other TEXT with same "terrible" 80s font.

I totally love this app as it brings back much nostalgia to the iPhone cam. A tad pricey considering its current limitations, however I would love to see a few things added into the updates to make it more worthy of the price tag: 1) Custom titles - I had an old Sharp camcorder that let you create custom titles which was handy at times. 2) Zoom sound - Add a sound effect for the cameras zoom feature like you used to hear when it zoomed in and out. 3) Static control - Would be nice to set how much static is happening, not just by turning the intensity up or down by camera movement. 4) Date&Time on/off - When filming it would be great to be able to hit a button that turns off the Date&Time at some point so its not on during the entire recording. 5) Screen/Tracking distortion - I like how sometimes you see the bottom of the frame distort when filming, just like when youd adjust the tracking setting on a VCR, but it would be great to control the intensity of that too when filming with this app. 6) Flash/Light support - For night or low light use, it would be fantastic to be able to hit a button that turns on the iPhone flash to use as a camcorder light. 7) Night vision - I first saw this used on a Sony camcorder back in the day, and it comes in handy at night if you dont want to turn on the actual light. 8) Rear screen view - Would be cool to have the option of capturing your footage as how the camera person would see it on an old camcorder preview screen back in the day. So youd see the red REC in the upper left corner, a full or low battery icon (which you can set full/partial or low battery) in the upper right corner with a timer counting upward, and a frame showing where to keep subjects within, all of which you can toggle on or off at will. 9) Video import - would be super cool to be able to import your existing videos into the app to process. 10) Front camera - For selfies, being able to use the phones front camera would be great. True the output quality wont be super high until apple upgrades it, but its VHS we are filming so no big deal really. Other than that solid app! Cant wait to see how it updates down the road.

A flash option would be great

I can now make my life moments I videotape feel like Im living in the 80s & 90s. Best video app purchase ever, and thats coming from someone who doesnt usually videotape anything. I just hope my phone doesnt run out of tape!

Sometimes not all my videos save, which is kinda devastating considering Im trying to capture certain moments that I cant recreate, its just frustrating so hopefully they fix that in the next update, also a front facing camera would be sweet, other than that this is the best app out there!

this app is so fun! worth the money. however, my suggestions would be to: -allow prerecorded videos to be put through the app -flash/night vision -front camera

I love the look of these videos! Really takes me back to my camcorder days. Just add the ability to use flash and itll be perfect. Its hard to record in the dark.

This is the only way Im gonna be recording videos for a long time! Thank you!

great app, love it. but can only have 8 videos and wont film for more that 10 seconds. kinda bummed on it bud.

Awesome! Please include 60 fps option to mimic the smooth and real life movements that camcorders used to give!!

I cant say anything bad about this app. I just love the whole look and even the sound. Takes me back to another time. The only thing I would add, though, is the ability to add pre-existing video to it. That would be sweet. Still though, A1 awesome lo-fi goodness.
